2019 LHON CONFERENCE
The 2019 LHON Conference Will Be Fun and Informative!
The 2019 LHON Conference will begin on Friday, June 28 with Networking at 11 am followed by lunch at 12:30. The Program will run from 1:30-5:30 pm.
On Saturday, June 29 we'll have a Continental Breakfast, then more LHON sessions until 12:30 pm, ending before lunch.
The LHON Conference Fee covers the LHON event from 11 am Friday through 12:30 pm Saturday. In addition, the UMDF has invited all LHON attendees to join their Friday morning Welcome and Big Pitch sessions from 8-10; details to follow.
There are many options to make your trip to the DC area even more fun and productive!
There will be a mixer on Wednesday, June 26 from 5-9pm for everyone there that early.
On Thursday, June 27, the UMDF will conduct its Day on the Hill for those who have registered.
You can also register for the full UMDF Family Meeting which continues Saturday through lunch, and mito-related sessions that afternoon. It also includes the Friday night UMDF banquet, in addition to the LHON conference.
In addition, a LHON Social Committee is organizing fun, optional social events. Look for the group in the hotel lobby Thursday June 27, probably starting around 4pm. An optional group dinner is taking place at 6 pm Friday June 28 at Clyde's Mark Center, for those not attending the UMDF banquet. Saturday afternoon post-conference activity options will be shared, and you can find others in the group to do any of them with you.
The LHON Conference Fee is $85. Thanks to our sponsors, there is an Early Bird Discount rate of $42 for registrations through May 31. There is a private Facebook group limited to people who have registered for the LHON Conference, so please register as soon as possible so you can begin networking with other attendees.
